Support the Award Winning "Team of the Year" as the Tracksiders take part in a sponsored 24 hour slide marathon!

On the 10^th August, Abergynolwyn station playground will play host to the railway's first ever 24-hour slide!

This feat of endurance was the brainchild of our "Tracksiders" young volunteer group. The slide is a staple of their 2 weeks of volunteering during the year, and they thought there was no better way to raise money for the 75 appeal than to keep this slide occupied by dedicated sliders for a full 24 hours.

We will begin at 11.47, as the first whistle on the train from Abergynolwyn is sounded and continue until the same whistle the next day. 

Sliders will take turns sliding through the day and night, but don't worry, visitors to the play ground will still be able to slide as well.
